The Virgo reunion this year will be at the Embassy Suites Hotels @ 1300 Concourse Drive in Linthicum, Maryland near BWI airport, from 18 Sept., 2013 til 22 Sept., 2013.

The hotel offers a two room suite @ $ 95.00 per night available 2 nights before and 2 nights after the event. This includes:
  • Complimentary full hot American Breakfast each morning.
  • Complimentary cocktails served each evening from 5:30 - 7:30 PM
  • Complimentary shuttle to and from BWI airport, Amtrak, and light rail stations.
  • Complimentary parking
  • Full service restaurant and bar lounge

Completely renovated Indoor pool, Sauna, Whirlpool and cardio fitness facility.

Attendees must make their own reservations by calling 1 800 HILTONS (362 2779). Please make your reservation not later than 17 August 2013. You must request the Group rate. We will be checking with the reservation desk about who has made reservations for planning purposes.

The plan for Thursday 19th Sept.

Ft. McHenry (Bring your “Golden Age Pass” if you have one “free admittance“ to Fort McHenry with pass. We will not have to pay for you).

USCG Cutter Taney, the last remaining ship from Dec. 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor Attack. Included in the tour is the USS Constellation, an 1800 sailing ship. Additional ships can be toured at your expense (The Lightship Chesapeake, and the submarine Torsk).

You will have some free time to visit the Baltimore Inner Harbor area where you can shop, eat, and visit other attractions of inner harbor area. You can also visit (free) the Knoll “screw pile” lighthouse, the oldest one on the Chesapeake Bay. Nearby is the Aquarium and other attractions. We will also take a driving tour of the Baltimore area.

Friday 20th Sept.

  • US Naval Academy, where we will tour the base, conduct our memorial ceremony, visit John Paul Jones crypt, and then have lunch at the” Drydock Café”. After lunch we will visit the museum and another display of artifacts from the war of 1812 and a tour of the beautiful downtown Annapolis area.

    The cost of the reunion is tentatively set @ $175.00 per person.

    During the visit to the US Naval Academy we will have lunch at the Drydock Café. Please make your selection when you send in the registration form for the reunion, we need to get a count so that we can place the order with the restaurant at least 7days before our visit in order for the restaurant to have everything prepared for our group.

    4. Sliced Deli sandwich ___________

    5. Sliced Deli Ham sandwich _______________

(The sandwiches include dessert, chips and soda.) Any one placing an order after the 7 day period will receive option #7.


The business meeting on Saturday Morning will be followed by “Free Time”.


Our banquet on Saturday evening.


The Southern Belle Buffet, The meal includes:

  • Fried Whiting, Pulled Pork BBQ and Fried Chicken
  • Garden Salad
  • Mashed Potatoes and gravy
  • Baked Macaroni and cheese
  • Green Beans
  • Asst. rolls and cornbread
  • Sweet potato and pecan pie
  • Iced tea and coffee.


Maryland is very much America in miniature w/ a diverse landscape from seashore to the mountains and very large metropolitan areas. We hope that our attendees will enjoy a wonderful reunion.

There are several restaurants in the area and the hotel will take guest to any place within two miles of the hotel and come and pick you up free of charge.
